In the event that you have a horse that will not stand safely for the farrier, we can dispense oral or intramuscular sedation. Although sedation is only a temporary solution, not a fix for the behavior issue, sedation can help ensure the horse’s basic care is tended to while the horse is undergoing training. In order to dispense sedation and other veterinary products, your horse must have been seen by one of our veterinarians within the last year.
